Stockton Alliance – Stockton Alliance is a commercial business Alliance between Solid Energy and Downer EDI Mining jointly operating the Stockton mine. The Stockton mine is Solid Energy’s largest mining operation, producing high-quality hard coking coal for export to steelmakers. Stockton is an open pit mining operation, the largest in New Zealand and is located at between 500m and 1,100m above sea level in the Buller Coalfield, 35km north of Westport. The HR Team at Stockton Alliance have chosen Capital Hire recruitment system to manage and process job applications from both extremely technical candidates and front line coal miners.

EziBuy New Zealand - EziBuy Limited is the largest fashion clothing and home decor multi-channel retailer in Australasia. A true Kiwi success story with over 1000 staff, EziBuy is one of the few New Zealand companies that has successfully integrated into the Australian market and has established itself as a trans-Tasman household name. To assist in recruiting the staffing levels required and look at the future needs by developing a potential staff talent pool by EziBuy, Capital Software were invited to propose a solution. The solution has now been implemented and online.

Wel Networks - Wel Networks implement Capital Recruit eRecruitment system. The core business of WEL Networks is to provide electricity distribution services to the Waikato. As an electricity distribution company who own, develop and maintain the electricity network of lines, poles, cables, substations and associated infrastructure. Their network connects 80,000 customers to the national transmission and generation facilities. Most of their revenue comes from invoicing electricity retailers for the provision of distribution services.

Taranaki Regional Council - The Council works to ensure that Taranaki’s natural resources are sustainably managed for the benefit of our community both now and in the future. Three districts make up the Taranaki region: New Plymouth District (population 68,901), Stratford District (8,892) and South Taranaki District (26,484). The two main population centres are New Plymouth and Hawera. Capital Hire translated into Arabic. In February 2009 Capital Hire registration will be released in English/Arabic for the recruitment of Air Traffic Controllers in Saudi Arabia. Airways New Zealand will be assisting the Saudi’s with their recruitment of 200 plus Air Traffic Control personnel. Capital Hire has been chosen as the recruitment tool to manage the thousands of applications expected.

Their reaction has been very complimentary commenting on a number of time and cost efficiencies they have made already. HCF are our first Australian client and we look forward to helping others soon.

Busy Busy Busy – Yes we have been very busy this year with two up-grades to our ‘Capital Hire’ e-recruitment system. This includes an expansion of our Communication Centre and the addition of a Marketing Survey section. The Marketing Survey section will now provide you with recorded information and results from the different media you use for recruitment advertising. This targets ‘getting positive results at low costs’ this is close to everyone’s heart.

JobAdz.com Open Public Site Invacare Corporation has resently trialed our e-Recruitment open public site with great success. Comments received from their Asia Pacific HR Manger was ‘we will be using this site for our recruitment in future’ a most positive endorsement.

Fulton Hogan is a leading roading and infrastructure construction company who employs over 2200 staff with annual sales of NZ $500 million.
