The Company was established in October 2001 with a clear vision to create powerful and dynamic software products that impact significantly for all users.
Using the very latest in software technology and the diverse applications of the web, our people based software products create many new online services and features for HR and Recruitment managers to offer to their own staff and clients.

Our development team combined has more than 25 years front line recruitment industry and staff resource experience knowing well the demands and challenges faced by HR and Recruitment Managers.
Through our own first hand experiences and consultation with other Recruitment and HR Specialists, we have set out to develop and build useful and practical HR and Recruitment management software applications.
Supported by our team of Consultants with either first hand HR and Recruitment experience or Software Application experience we pride ourselves on delivering a finished software product that surpasses the expectations of its intended users.
Capital Software has been providing eRecruitment solutions since 2002 with the first release of Capital Hire in that same year. We have continually up-dated and extended the system software and over the past years have added new products to our range.
We current provide solutions to organisations throughout New Zealand and Australia with a service team located in these countries.

ESR's Careers Website has been in operation since November 2002. Since its introduction we have received over 210,000 visitors to our Career site and we currently have an active talent pool of just under 7000 registered job seekers. The Capital Hire eRecruitment system has significantly reduced the amount of time and resources spent processing CV's, processing job applications and talent pool management. All applications are automatically acknowledged and can be easily accessed by managers. The processing of applications is also a lot more efficient for both the applicant and ESR staff. One of the many financial benefits we have received is a reduced spend on paper based advertising by 40% due to a more streamlined recruitment process and effective talent pool management. Approximately 60% of our job applicants come from our existing talent database which is all managed electronically online.
